FAQ
Short answers to the questions we hear most. For the full picture, follow the links into the rest of the docs.
Tracking & engines
Section titled “Tracking & engines”How often do my prompts run? Every active prompt runs once a day against each of your engines, producing one captured answer per prompt, per engine, per day. Inactive and suggested prompts don’t run. See Prompts.
How many engines can I track? Up to three per project, on every plan. Which engines are available depends on your plan. See Engines.
Can I change my engines after setup? Engines are chosen during onboarding, and there’s no self-serve screen to change them afterwards yet. If you need to add, remove, or swap an engine, contact support and we’ll make the change. See Engines.
How many prompts and competitors can I track? That depends on your plan — see the pricing page for the current limits, and Plans for how plans work.
When will I see my first results? After your first daily runs complete. New dashboards show prompts like “Visibility appears after prompt runs complete” until answers are captured, then fill in on their own. See the Quickstart.
Reading your results
Section titled “Reading your results”What’s the difference between visibility and share of voice? Visibility is whether you appear — the share of answers that mention you. Share of voice is how much of the conversation you own — your mentions as a share of all tracked-brand mentions. See the Metrics reference.
What’s the difference between a retrieved and a cited source? Retrieved means the engine fetched the page while working out its answer; cited means the page appears as a visible source in the answer. They’re independent — a page can inform an answer without being cited. See Sources.
Why is my sentiment blank? Sentiment is produced by an AI pass over your captured answers, so it lands shortly after your prompts run rather than instantly. Until enough answers are labelled, the page shows a “baseline forming” state. See Sentiment.
Audits & credits
Section titled “Audits & credits”What’s a GEO audit? An on-demand, AI-driven analysis of a single prompt that produces a verdict, a scored diagnosis, a prioritised fix list, and a phased roadmap. See GEO audits.
What does an audit cost? 100 credits per run. See Running an audit.
What are credits for? Credits are prepaid units for actions; today only audits use them. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, and you can top up for more. See Credits.
Do unused credits roll over? Your monthly plan allowance doesn’t roll over — use it within the period. Top-up credits you buy stay valid for 12 months. See Credits.
Plans & billing
Section titled “Plans & billing”Is there a free trial? Yes — 14 days on the Starter plan, with no payment details required and enough trial credits to run one audit. See the free trial.
Can I change plan or cancel anytime? Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Settings → Billing. Monthly plans end at the next billing date; annual plans run to the end of the term. No cancellation fees. See Plans.
How do I add a teammate? Go to Settings → Members, click Invite member, and choose their role and what they can access. See Team & roles.
